Gastroenterology

Our Centre incorporates Consultants who specialise in all aspects of gastroenterology including upper and lower gastrointestinal disease as well as pancreatic disorders.

In keeping with our philosophy of providing a multidisciplinary approach to the investigation and management of gastrointestinal disorders, gastroenterology is served by an Endoscopy Unit that incorporates the use of state of the art endoscopic technology as well as top class radiology and an imaging department.

A number of our Consultants have a special interest in the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and microscopic colitis and, again, the higher standard of care is achieved by close liaison with the departments of radiology, endoscopy and histopathology.
